TURNAGAIN TURNAROUND TOUR - Experience the highlights of the Turnagain Arm!  This half-day tour departs Anchorage for the scenic drive south to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center.  After an informative visit through the park with many of the largest of Alaska's wild animals, your tour will continue on to Girdwood, a quaint mining town turned ski resort at the base of Mt. Alyeska.  Ascend the side of the spectacular mountain in style, taking a spacious gondola up to a lodge where you have the option of enjoying lunch with the breathtaking view above and below.  After your fill of lakes, glaciers, and Turnagain Arm reaching right toward you, descend on the tram for more touring as time allows.  This is a DON'T MISS experience!   2. WILDLIFE ADVENTURE TOUR - This 4 hour guided and escorted tour travels down beautiful Turnagain Arm making several scenic photo stops and visits the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center for a wildlife photo safari. Includes hotel transfer.
  3. CHOCOLATE CITY CIRCUIT - This is a 2 hour tour around Anchorage with a professional guide pointing out the sites and features two tasty chocolate destinations, the Modern Dwellers Chocolate Lounge & the Alaska Wildberry Products for some samples. Includes hotel transfer.
  4. BIG RIG EXPERIENCE- The ice road truckers show their courage on TV all over the world. Get an exclusive look into the ice road truckers of Alaska and the Carlile Trucking Facility. Try your hand at their Truck Driving Simulator. Includes hotel transfer.
  5. WINTER DOG SLEDDING - Travel north of Anchorage and head into mushing country. This 6 hour day trip gives you the opportunity to harness up the dog team and ride the runners through snowy meadows and wooded trails. Includes hot beverage & snacks.

HISTORIC GOLD MINE TOUR - Travel the back roads to the late 1800's at Crow Creek Mine, nestled in a valley on Glacier Creek where you and your Salmon Berry Tours guide will dig for gold!  The drive down the scenic Turnagian Arm will start this tour.  Once into Girdwood, your Salmon Berry Tours guide will take the back roads up Crow Creek Road to Crow Creek Mine.  Here you will have a chance to see historic buildings, miner cabins, equipment used in the old hydraulic placer mine, have a chance to see a real gold prospector, and walk through the gardens to the creek to try your hand at prospecting.  Your Salmon Berry Tours guide will instruct you in basic panning skills and then teach you more tricks of the trade in the creek!
